A relaxed 45 minutes in our studio. We warm the wax and help you capture a fingerprint, hand or tiny toe. Then your impression goes straight to our casting bench — no posting, no faff.

Little hands, our help.
Wriggly toddlers and sleepy newborns are our speciality. Take your time, try again if you need to — we’ll keep the wax warm.

Settle in
Grab a tea, find a comfy spot. Prams and buggies are fine — we’re on the ground floor.

We warm the wax
Each pre-weighed wax ball is softened and ready, so it’s at its most forgiving for tiny prints.

Press, together
We guide your hand and theirs. Not quite right? We’ll smooth it and try again.

Straight to the bench
Choose your metal and finish, and your wax goes directly to our casters. No tins, no postbox.

Pick a day we’re in.
Sessions run on weekdays, when the whole team is in the studio. Morning slots for little ones, an after-school slot for bigger ones.
How booking works
- Choose a weekday and a time: a morning slot, or the after-school slot.
- Tell us how many impressions you’d like. One per pendant, up to 4 per session.
- Tell us who’s coming, for example “Ada, 7 months, and her big brother Leo, 4”.
- Pay the £25 booking fee to hold your session.

Can’t make it to Sheffield? The Heirloom Impression Pack does the same at home.
What age works best?
Any age. Under nine months, fingerprint ridges aren’t defined yet, so we’ll suggest a toe, foot or whole-hand print instead. Bigger kids love doing their own.
Can grown-ups and pets come too?
Grown-ups, absolutely — a parent’s print on the reverse of a child’s is a favourite. For pets, we’d recommend the at-home pack so they’re relaxed on their own sofa.
Do I choose my metal on the day?
Yes. You’ll see your impressions first, then choose silver or gold, finish, chain and any engraving. Casting is paid at the end of the session.
How long until my pendant arrives?
Usually 6–8 weeks. Because there’s no posting, your wax is often in the kiln the same week.
What if my little one isn’t in the mood?
It happens to everyone. We’ll pause, try again later in the session, or move you to another day for free.
