Yes. Many families use the pack to keep a loved one’s fingerprint. Press their fingertip gently into the wax and we cast it exactly as it is, every ridge and line, in solid silver or gold. Yes. Give the £10 pack and they make the impression when they’re ready, then choose their metal and pay to cast. Or give the Pendant Pack, with the cast already paid. For babies under nine months, a tiny toe gives the clearest print.

The pack is £10, and it’s credited to your casting. A finished silver pendant starts at £85, pack included. Gold costs more, depending on the carat and size. You pay to cast when you submit your impression online.

Three pre-weighed wax balls, two screw-top tins, a clear template and a pre-paid mailing bag. One pack makes one piece. Casting isn’t included: you pay for it when you submit your impression, and your £10 is credited.

It is the pendant. You aren’t taking a mould — the wax you shape is cast directly into precious metal, identical in size and shape. Each ball is pre-weighed, so don’t combine them.

The wax is independently tested, non-hazardous and non-toxic. Babies under nine months don’t have defined ridges yet, but a tiny toe captures just as tenderly.

Yes, and they look beautiful. A child’s print on the front and a parent’s on the reverse is a favourite. A large wax gives you the most room.

Yes — 9ct to 18ct yellow, white and rose gold. However, we cannot currently cast Heirloom waxes in platinum. You can pre-purchase the solid gold casting as part of your initial kit purchase here, or you can pay for the solid gold upgrade on the wax return submission form. Usually 6–8 weeks from the day your wax reaches the workshop. Once your piece is prepped we’ll email a firmer completion date.

No. We cast the wax impression itself, so the pendant carries the real ridges and depth of their print, not an engraved copy. If you only have a photo or an ink print, this pack isn’t the right fit.

No. This pack is made at home and posted back. Our Wedding Studio is a workshop in Kelham Island, Sheffield, where couples carve their wedding bands together, from £375 with silver included.
